The research team focuses on finding companies that are sustainable, equitable, and diverse. They comb through company websites, online databases, and news articles to create their own ESG ratings—all from publicly available information. These ratings are then used in a regression to pinpoint sustainable companies that are likely to do well in the future and in stock pitches to demonstrate that these firms meet our standards. Under the current pandemic, the research team meets with the investment team bi-weekly. The research team welcomes students from all majors who are interested in digging into the environmental and social impacts of various businesses.
